No pop-ups or videos
Nothing jumps in front of the shop you opened. No pop-ups, no auto-playing videos.
Your data isn’t for sale
We never sell your data. We count visits only to show shop owners how their shop is doing, and we use no ad trackers.
Paid spots are always labelled
Local shops can pay to be shown first nearby. Those are always marked “Sponsored”. Paying doesn’t change a shop’s ratings or reviews.
Why we work this way
You open OfflineBazar to find a shop near you: the medical store that’s open late, the hardware shop that has the right fitting, the sweet shop with fresh rasgulla. Ads from outside only get in the way of that, so we don’t run them.
Buyers never pay us. Shop owners pay for a plan so buyers can see their shop, and some choose to pay for a Boost. That’s how we keep the lights on, so we don’t need to sell your attention or your data to anyone.
What “Sponsored” means
A shop that pays for a Boost is shown near the top of nearby search and the map for a few days, with a “Sponsored” label on it. Our team checks every Boost before it goes live. Only shops listed on OfflineBazar can buy one, and it doesn’t change their ratings or reviews.
The banners you see on the home page and in search are made by the OfflineBazar team.
What we count, and why
When you open a shop or tap Call, WhatsApp or Directions, we count it, so the shop owner can see how many people found them. We don’t use ad trackers, and we never sell or hand your data to advertisers. Our Privacy policy has the details.
If you own a shop
No ad networks, no pop-ups, no videos on your shop page. If a shop wants to be shown first, it pays for a Boost and we mark it “Sponsored”. Same rule for every shop, including yours.
